Looks like they might have been trimming the trees, or messing with the power lines. Sorry I didn’t get closer. The smoke truly smelled toxic.

A guy knocked on my door yesterday, saying they were doing some upgrading. This van was across the street when he knocked. It moved on and caught fire a couple hours later.
The white van in the first photo on my Gallery has a “Contractor for Broadstripe” decal on the sliding door. Likely, it was part of the crew with the smoldering blue van that had an engine fire after an attempt to start it.

The van is gone but before it went it had been ticketed. How is that for insult to injury? :)
