The Breakfast Group, in partnership with The NW Black Pioneers,  Seattle Parks and Recreation, and the ROOTS Committee is sponsoring the 2013 ROOTS Family  Picnic.

 

This event is a social gathering in support of Closing the Generation Gap to strengthen family and community ties.

FREE Admission, Mini Museum Tours

Activities: Face Painting, Field Games, Mini Museum Tours, Live Music by Area Musicians, Special Community Appreciation Awards, Periodic Raffle Drawings for Fantastic Prizes,  Voices Oral History Project and A Special Food Table will be Hosted for Senior Citizens and MORE!!!

The non-profit Foundation, with the assistance of the Friends of Jimi Hendrix Park, aims to raise $1.5 million in private funding  for the Park.
