The Golden Wheat Bakery opened on March 1st at 2908 E. Cherry Street in the old King Creole space between 29th and 30th. They open at 7am each day and have cookies, breads, juices, tarts, pies, coffee and pastries. They should be able to accept credit cards starting tomorrow Monday the 4th. Stop in and welcome them to the neighborhood!
This is great, I can’t wait to give them a try! I’ve been hoping a bakery would find its way to Cherry Street.
I stopped in this afternoon..I bought the double chocolate chip cookie..amazing..it was gone before I was home..I will be back..Welcome to the neighborhood..
Very sweet folks. Stop in. Free wifi. Great cookies. Also espresso (but have not tried it.) They start selling bread tomorrow or Thursday. A welcome business to the neighborhood!
Great spot to be on a gray day…tried one pastry…loved it and will be back with more friends to spread the word….
Quality ingredients, good croissants, rugelach, scones. Family owners and operators couldn’t be nicer and more friendly. Glad to see a new place like this in the neighborhood.
I checked this out today and enjoyed my visit. Wide variety of goodies, espresso, etc. Give it a try!
