My wife and I had dinner at the Bistro Wednesday evening. Very pleasant. Friendly staff. Simple but quality menu. Good vino!
We ate at Ala Bonne Franquette on Tuesday evening — a lovely new restaurant in the Mount Baker neighborhood. Good food — fresh and tasty, simply prepared and served. The lamb stew is FULL of tender, juicy lamb! Very friendly wait staff and cook staff — the open kitchen is a great idea and it’s fun to watch the food being prepared. The view over the city is outstanding as well.
Just ate there tonite with my wife and daughter. We all enjoyed our food and wine. Good starters, very few entrees – we would not go back until the next menu change, which I gather will be soon. Limited choice of wines by the glass. Overall, very promising neighborhood restaurant.
