Initial Hearing on Jurisdictional & Preliminary Matters | JPAE/DESC Land Use Permit Appeal

JPAE  would like to invite supporters, Jackson Place residents and community members to attend the initial hearing on jurisdictional and preliminary matters concerning the appeal JPAE filed in response to the land use permit issued by the City of Seattle to DESC that would allow the Crisis Solutions Center to be sited at 1600-1618 S Lane St.

In April 2011, JPAE filed an appeal to the land use permit that was issued to DESC that would allow a Crisis Diversion Facility to be sited at 1600-1618 S Lane St. JPAE maintains that the Request for Interpretation and the process under which permits were issued to DESC was not given a full, transparent, public review process. As a result, on April 25, 2011 JPAE filed a legal action in Superior Court seeking an impartial, unbiased review of the siting of the crisis diversion facility on South Lane Street. The public is welcome to attend!
