A big welcome to the impending weekend! Here’s the list of fun from our community calendar that you can go check out:

Saturday noon-3:30pm – The new gym on the Leschi waterfront that we told you about at the beginning of the year is holding an open house with free BBQ and an expert talk about nutrition and diet

Saturday 1pm – 4pm – Our uniformed friends at the East Precinct are holding their annual community picnic, with food, music, and tours of the building. And it’s your chance to put a name to the men and women in blue that you see patrolling the neighborhood.

Sunday 11am – There’s a whole bunch of plants that need to be planted in their holes along Union. Help your neighbors get the light gardening work done and meet some fun folks in the process
