How long will our fantastic September weather hold out? Here’s the scoop from another sunny, warm, clear day in Seattle’s East Precinct:
“Shoplifting – Person in custody at QFC (can’t wait until the end of the year when we can see who has had more shoplifting: Goodwill or Harvard Mkt QFC. currently a neck & neck race)”
My bet is Goodwill.
The Comcast guys came to our house in Madrona. All legit! 6:00pm
Isn’t Madrona in the Broadstripe service area?
NO!…….it is the area by TT Minor and Capitol Hill……..
Wishful thinking: I live in a Broadstripe monopoly building in CD, and I *wish* Comcast would show up, rip out the Broadstripe garbage and install the (not great, but not nearly as bad as Broadstripe) Comcast service I had in my old neighborhood.
Do you know what went down at CC’s bar on Madison @ 15th around 5:00pm today? There were 7 police cars and 1 Medic unit parked all askew in front with light bars flashing.
Hhahahaha… this is so funny. It amazes me everyday the number of people that shoplift from
Goodwill. I suggest they put a “FREE” section in the store. ( I thought Goodwill was free once upon a time)……I thought it was just me tallying the votes!!!
that didn’t come up on the scanner, so we’re not sure
Apparently there are both real and fake Comcast employees out there… from the PI’s blog
Police searching for fraudulent Comcast employees
Seattle police are searching for two men in their 20s who posed as Comcast employees and obtained one elderly man’s Social Security number and AARP membership information.

I second that. What’s the use of cable deregulation if your neighborhood only has one option?
In another stunning reversal, the Comcasters are once again real. Or at least real but incompetent contractors…. http://blog.seattlepi.nwsource.com/seattle911/archives/14912 .
Well the thing is goodwill only reports half of the shoplifts they get, the other half they file themselfs with the police department and an officer never has to arrive.
