Editor’s Note: This was filed with preliminary infomation gathered at the scene. We’ve filed a separate report that has all of the details provided by SPD.

We just got back from the scene of an assault that happened near 26th & Columbia. We know that there were two victims, one with minor facial cuts, and one woman with a more serious but non-life-threatening wound to the arm.

We know that there is some connection to the same apartment where the sword wielding woman was arrested back in October. Seattle Police officers entered that same apartment in search of a suspect in this case, but found that he had already escaped prior to their arrival. We don’t yet have a description of the suspect they were searching for. In addition, a woman from that apartment was in custody, but it’s unclear why.
