Today the Seattle PI reports that a new mural is planned for a retaining wall along 23rd Avenue. Although the article is frustratingly unspecific on the location, the article mentions that the Colman Neighborhood Association is funding the project, so I assume it’s destined for the wall in front of the forthcoming African American History Museum in the old Colman School building.
Eddie Walker, the artist and longtime civil rights activist, plans an “inclusive” 124 foot pictorial of Central District history.
