12:31PM - 5th Ave S and S Jackson St - Fraud - Woman at Bank of America is attempting to cash a $10,000 fraudulent check
12:33PM - 900 16th Ave E - Suspicious Circumstance - Man is been wandering around the caller's house, white male 50s, red backpack, mental
12:58PM - 1330 E Madison St - Shoplifting - Person in custody at Rite-Aid
1:27PM - 1401 Broadway - Shoplifting - Man in custody at QFC
1:37PM - 1900 E Madison St - Disturbance - Woman refusing to leave apartment building, black female, all black clothing
2:26PM - 25th Ave and E Union St - Suspicious Circumstance - Two men in a vehicle appear to be casing homes, brown car
3:35PM - 800 Rainier Ave S - Disturbance - Man refuses to leave a business
4:00PM - 200 32nd Ave - Suspicious Circumstance - Man appears to be casing. He walked up the caller's driveway, then walked off, black male, 20s, grey sweatshirt, green backpack
4:05PM - 200 18th Ave - Family Disturbance - Caller says her daughter who was recently suspended from school is refusing to come in the house. Mom is uncooperative with the call taker. *runs in the family
4:33PM - Bellevue and E Pine St - Vandalism - Three men tagging a building, hispanic males, teens, dark hoodies. Update: the men are contracted to paint over the graffiti
5:10PM - 1400 32nd Ave - Welfare Check - Caller needs someone to check on a friend who has not been heard from in two months
5:44PM - 1000 E Yesler Way - 911 Hang up - Hang-up call from a residence. When operators called the number back, they were told it was a mistake, but they heard a child in the background crying for help.

I just took a quick stroll outside and saw a broken window and missing stereo from a car parked on 14th and E Yesler by the bus stop.

A little before noon a brown Suburban with tinted windows was rolling very slowly down 30th. The car would slow or stop in front of each house and the two men inside would gesture at the house and at each other, then move on to the next house. Seems like casing to me. Similar circumstances as the suspicious activity reported above.

Around 11:00PM on 31st and E. Arlington Place in Madrona? Neighbor informed me (wasn't home at the time) there was a multi-police response on the block...by midnight a Lincoln Tow Truck was removing a large, dark SUV-ish vehicle from the alley way. Would love to know what/who SPD was chasing on my lawn while I was away.
