Does anybody know what is going into the former King Creole space on 30th & Cherry?  Work has been happening inside the space for the last couple of weeks and they just started painting the wooden window frames fire engine red.  It looks like there is cooking or baking equipment inside but I can’t tell for sure.

Any info out there?  We live close by and are getting excited for something new to show up.

New taco truck has opened on 23rd and Union.  I peeled it in there today on the way home from work and had a couple of tacos.  I had one Carne Asada and one Chicken taco – both had great flavor.  Owner seems to be real nice.   Between this and the bbq truck in the key bank parking lot on Friday’s we are starting to have a few nice options for a quick snack or meal!  Anybody else been to the taco truck yet?  Thoughts?

I noticed that there was a “sold” sign on the vacant commercial space at 23rd and Cherry today.  Anybody know any details about the buyer?  Or, what the plans are for the property?  Thanks in advance.
