Gang units were called to the scene to investigate a shooting near Seattle University at 12th and Jefferson just after midnight.
Police and medics responded to the reported shooting at 12:12a and found a 25-year-old male with a gunshot wound to his leg.
SPD gang units were called in to assist with the investigation. The area is near Waid’s nightclub which was hosting a benefit party Friday night.
