§Instill cultural consciousness by emphasizing healthcare risks prevalent in the African American community and by imparting important facts and knowledge that bolster intellectual, moral, practical and emotional responsibility.
§Help youth provide leadership by promoting healthcare literacy community-wide.
§Create smarter, better informed youth
§Improve life skills
