Seattle Central Little League held its Opening Day Celebration at Garfield Playfield Saturday morning. Over 400 kids representing 38 little league softball/baseball teams turned out to show off their brand new uniforms for the season and to enjoy festivities that included music by the Seahawks band Blue Thunder, a ceremonial first pitch by the UW Husky mascot Harry, free hotdogs provided by Madrona Grocery Outlet, and the first pitch of several SCLL games.
