East Union art space debuts with open house

A new part of the East Union community is throwing an open house this weekend. Stop by and check it out. Here’s the note we received from Zibby Wilder about the appropriately named East Union:

Hi there,

Just wanted to let our local blogger know that East Union – a new art space – will be opening this weekend. East Union is a professional space available for monthly rentals to artists who want to show their work without the middle man of a gallery or dealer.

Complete details can be found at www.eastunionseattle.com.

We’ll be hosting open houses to view the space Saturday, 3/19, 4-7pm, Wednesday, 3/23, 5-7pm and Sunday, 3/27, from 12-2pm.

We’d love to see you and members of our Central District community on one of these dates! The address is 2421B East Union (in between 24th and 25th).

All the best,

Zibby

  1. A couple of us went this afternoon and enjoyed it. A great space that hopefully will have lots of use! And if the refreshments don’t fill you up, you can stop in at Cortona in the same building.
