We ventured out into the snowpocalypse (okay, one block along 34th Ave) and most of the local restaurants are still open. In case you’re in the neighborhood and still pondering dinner options: the Madrona Alehouse was packed, St. Clouds looked to be bustling and June was open though on the quiet side.

Naam Thai was closed, we’re assuming because of the weather. Bottlehouse, Bistro Turkuaz and Dulces Latin Bistro are all closed on Mondays regularly. 

We also heard from Mountain Flow Yoga that both evening classes tonight were canceled, along with tomorrow’s 6am class.

As for local schools, Madrona K-8 is not in session this week anyway because of Parent-Teacher conferences. Epiphany School will follow Seattle Public Schools’ policy Tuesday and will send an email to families UPDATE: Seattle Public Schools will be closed on Tuesday. St. Therese is closed on Tuesday. 

The 2 and 3 buses, like all Metro buses, are affected by rerouting, so check Metro’s website Tuesday morning if you’re planning to commute by bus.
