Apparent tire slashings last night along 24th Ave north of Union – Update

Check your car tires and call SPD non-emergency (206) 625-5011 if you are among the victims.  The police need to know if there’s a pattern to this vandalism.

Update:  This was followed up by a window smashing early today.  Anyone else have this happen?

  3. The police have been by already. This extended into the block south of Union as well on 24th Ave. They stopped right at one of our cars. No idea why. We’re lucky. *knock on wood*

    “Something to remember re mass slashing. Les Schwab in Portland would send a truck out to the neighborhoods where that happened. They got a ton of free publicity and some very loyal customers as a result of helping folks out gratis.”
