1. If he doesn’t contact you, the police will be more than happy to take it. I found a passport once (along with a handful of other stuff…. looked like a handbag or glove compartment had been rifled) I think I called to see what exactly to do with it – where to take it. They actually sent some east precinct guys to my work to pick it up – I said I’d drop it off on my way home, but they didn’t even want to wait until I got off work. They are pretty serious about passports….
