There’s a lot of music happening this weekend, but if sweating it out with 20,000 other people on Capitol Hill isn’t your style, be sure to check out The Good Vibe concert here in the neighborhood at Blanche Lavizzo Park.
It’s the fourth year for the concert, organized by the leaders of the East Precinct Crime Prevention Coalition as a way to bring some positive community-building activity to one of our neighborhood’s parks.
Here’s the lineup of local artists:
- Theoretics
- Renaissance The Poet
- Tenderoney
- The Impossibles
- DJ Rise
It should be a fun time with free food, good music, and what is forecasted to be some fantasic summer weather. And it’s at a park, so you can bring your blankets, kids, furry beasts, and make an afternoon of it.
The music runs from 1pm to 5pm in the park at 2100 S. Jackson.
