If you’re driving on Lake Washington Boulevard in Madrona this week, be patient – SDOT crews are doing paving work from today through the end of the week.
From the release:
Seattle Department of Transportation paving crews are spot paving on Lake Washington Boulevard in the Madrona neighborhood, starting today and continuing for three to four days. Work hours are 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. One lane will remain open with traffic in each direction taking turns, assisted by traffic flaggers. Drivers should expect congestion. The street will remain open for pedestrians and bicycles.
The lake road is busy in the summer on a normal day with beach traffic, so expect some long waits this week – or opt for bike or foot as your better option for getting along the water.
