For those making last-minute plans, June is coordinating with California winery Stage Left Cellars for a wine pairing dinner at their 34th Ave restaurant tomorrow night.
As of yesterday evening a few seats will still available for the 7pm dinner. For $50 a person, you get six courses with distinctive wine pairings – a pretty good deal, when you consider that’s 6 wine pairings on top of the food.

Rabbit rillette on crostini + The Scenic Route ’07 – 100% Syrah
Braised pork belly with mushroom fricassee + Grenache ’05
Seared duck breast with red wine demi-glace + 100% Syrah ’06
Cote de boeuf with morel, rosemary jus + The Breadwinner ’06 – Syrah/Grenache/Mourvedre/Petite Sirah
Balsamic sabayon with strawberries + Grenache ’06
