Possible sale of Broadstripe networks in Washington?

I just came across an article talking about Broadstripe looking at selling off some of their networks in Washington.

Personally, I think this could be a good deal for the CD. I tried Broadstripe when I first moved to the neighborhood. I’ve never been so disgusted with a company’s service levels.

However, if they do sell their network, about the only buyer is Comcast? How is Comcast in the CD? My experience on the Eastside has been positive for the most part. The network out that way is reliable and fast when it comes to cable internet. The TV lineup was pretty good. Notably, they had HBO HD which Broadstripe does not offer.

Comcast buying up the Broadstripe network in the CD, yay or nay?

  1. Qwest has the worst service and too many penalties. They charge you nearly a $100 to fix their leased equipment! They expect you to wait up to 4 days for them to come out and fix their equipment! They sell your phone number without your permission! They keep you on hold for 45 to an hour! When you try and watch a videos they get hung up and are slow, even if you have a new computer! They’ll charge you up to 300 to cancel their crappy service! Broadstrip service is getting better-far better than Qwest!
