I saw a helicopter hovering this morning over First Hill and listened to the scanner online for a little while – it sounded like it might have been a bank robbery with the same kind of car. Is this related? The one this morning was just before noon, if I remember.
We were listening to the scanner during that time but didn’t hear about a First Hill bank robbery. CHS has a lot more details on a string of recent bank robberies, possibly tied to the one downtown today:

We saw the K9 and officers on our block, but it didn’t look like the dog was too successful – only on one block than turned around and went back. There was also a cruiser shinning lights between houses. I was wondering what it was all about. Thanks CD news!
