Using Garfield H.S. track and football field

Assuming non-school hours, and no one has the field reserved can anybody use the field to play football/ultimate frisbee/etc…?

or I might just go with better to ask for forgiveness than permission.

If it’s after school hours, and if there isn’t a school event or game happening, anyone can use the track and field. This was what I learned when I asked the school administration. And for those of you that haven’t noticed, there is an open entrance on the west side of the field, enter the north parking lot(at 25th and Jefferson) and walk towards the building around the north perimeter of the track. The entrance difficult to see from the street and several people I talked to thought you had to hop the fence or locked gate on the east side.
