Two weeks ago the dedication for the Heritage Pear Tree at 27th & Cherry featured a not-yet-in-bloom tree, delayed by our unseasonably cool weather.  But now that we’ve had a few nice days, the tree has burst into an expanse of little white flowers. Go check it out, and start making plans for lots of pear-based cooking at the end of summer.
