You may have seen the new structure going up on the site of the old Plasteel building at 12th & Marion.  It’s Seattle University’s Admissions & Alumni building, an 11,000 square foot building that will house all of the university’s admissions programs, alumni relations, and a large assembly space available for community meetings and university events.

It’s a combination of a remodel of the old building, plus a new addition that has taken over the former parking lot that sat at the corner of the property.  Framing of the new structure is now underway, moving towards a scheduled completion in August of this year.
