Eight volunteers were hard at work in the light rain this morning, turning over soil and spreading mulch along the paths. Those are some of the final steps before it will be ready for planting later in May. The terraces are done, the irrigation system is installed, and all that is left is to build a tool shed, composting bins, and condition the clay-filled soil to support good organic gardening.
The people with the most accumulated volunteer hours will have priority for the spots, so your time is running out if you’d like to get one. Stay tuned for future opportunities to go help out at the site.
Looks like a job well done!

That picture is impressive.
It looks like people have put in a lot of hours so far building that P-patch – what a fantastic addition to the neighborhood.
