Your Inauguration Day Plans

Looking for a place to go and watch the inauguration tomorrow morning with some other proud and hopeful neighbors? Here’s a list of all the events we know about here in the neighborhood:

Northwest African American Museum – They’ve got room for 160 people and free admission to the exhibits afterwards. Doors open at 7:45am

The Bottleneck – Special Guest Chef Lisa Hogeland is fixing up some breakfast dishes and the bar will be open with endless coffee and some more celebratory beverages.  (The Bottleneck is a CDNews sponsor)

Cafe Presse – Live closer to 12th Ave? Enjoy the inauguration with baguette and cheese at Cafe Presse

Central Cinema – Will be showing the inauguration on the big screen, but we hear it is already SOLD OUT so no luck if you don’t already have a seat (Central Cinema is a CDNews sponsor)

Your Mission: Make sure you have your camera handy to snap photos or videos of anything inspiring that happens where ever you are tomorrow. Then upload them or email them to us. A good example is the wonderful video that CentralCinema uploaded from election night. More like that please!

  2. We just picked up a new TV of reasonable size for the cafe space in the lobby so we can celebrate with a few more people. During the debates we only had the audio part in the cafe space, now we have visual too. Stop by and we’ll see if we can find you a spot for this Historic moment.

  3. We watched at Tougo this morning, but it was so great to go by the Bottleneck and Central Cinema, totally packed! Thanks to everyone for coming together and making this day even more special.
