The sound of sirens and a refresh of the city’s 911 page indicate that there’s a house fire in the 900 block of MLK South.

Update: Crews cleared the scene within an hour of the first call, so it must have been relatively minor.  We’ll follow up with the fire department tomorrow morning.

Update x2:  Dana Vanderhouen from Seattle Fire Dept. told me that this was a mattress fire that was quickly put out with a pump can (i.e., not a big hose). There were no injuries, and no damage estimates. (assume: 1 unusable bed)
