City Light contractors have been out all week on 22nd, trimming up the
tops of the trees on the west side of the street. I suppose that the
weekend outage convinced them that some maintenance was in order.

I’ve always loved the tunnel-like canopy along that street, but I
guess if forced to choose between that and reliable electric power,
I’ll go along with the aggressive trimming.
