Families at Kimball Elementary brought home this urgent notice yesterday. Other area families will want to know too.
“On the morning of Monday, June 2, a car approached one of our students while she was waiting for her bus near Beacon Hill Elementary. A man asked her to get into the car. The Kimball student did the right thing. She didn’t talk to the man and she stayed far away from the car, and ran to her home. Seattle Police and Seattle Public School Security have been notified. Heightened security will be present around the school bus stop areas early in the morning. … [T]ake the time to talk with your children about staying safe, and walking in pairs. Children should be supervised by parents as they are going to and from school.”
