The Stranger has a story on local restaurant and neighborhood meeting place Hidmo. It talks about some of the problems that occur around the building and what the neighborhhod is trying to do about it. It seems like Hidmo is such a positive force in the community and their name is being harmed by a few bad apples. But, is the neighborhood working WITH Hidmo to correct these problems, or are they working AGAINST them in hopes of shutting them down? I’m glad I don’t own a restaurant or club in this city. It seems like it would be one giant headache. They have all of these rules and regulations imposed on them by the city. But, then they’re required to keep the peace outside of their doors as well? No thanks.
