Today a couple hundred student protesters from all over the area marched through downtown and up Jackson to the military recruiting station by the Red Apple grocery. I went to grab a few pics, and found a strong police presence and well behaved crowd.

Although there was a smorgasbord of causes visible, the main goal was to achieve a complete ban on military recruiting in local schools
