This morning at about 4:00 a.m. a car prowler broke into my roommate’s car on 26th between E. Howell and E. Olive. He smashed the driver’s window, but luckily was heard before he could steal anything. He was in an older model large white panel van (no windows in the back of the van). He fled before police could arrive. He took off southbound on 26th toward Union. Keep an eye out for this guy – keep our neighborhood safe!
