Hi CDnews, longtime lurker, first time posting here.
Just wanted to report a hit and run in the 300 block of 27th Avenue (between Alder and Jefferson). It appears that the accident occurred between 12:45 and 1:05pm on Saturday June 8th, 2013. There was red paint transfer so I imagine that they were driving a red vehicle that now has damage on one of the front quarter panels. Can’t tell which direction they were headed and there were no witnesses, but my best guess is that they were traveling Northbound and have damage to the passenger side front quarter panel or bumper. My car is a black Honda Civic so they might have black paint transfer. Not expecting much as this is the 2nd time this has happened, but I am hoping that maybe someone spots the car or that I will be able to get in touch with anyone else that this driver hit today. good luck with that… I also have no driveway and park on the street. My car has lost it’s driver side mirror no fewer than 4 or 5 times…. (it’s fixed, so I can’t fold it in or anything) and I watched some bozo back up into my poor little car, hit it, then rather than pulling forward before they did any damage, continue to turn the wheel while backing up and nearly pull the front drivers side fender off…. My mistake was trying to put on shoes before I ran outside…
