Car Shootings on 24th Avenue South

Around 6:00pm on Tuesday, December 4, a neighborhood resident witnessed a car traveling south on 24th Avenue South firing a gun or guns at parked cars on both sides of the street, along the 700 and 800 blocks.

The witness called Seattle police immediately and notified the victims.  About 10 vehicles were vandalized, suffering side window damage.  The offenses listed on the police report are aggravated gun assault, residential property damage, and drive-by shooting.  Fortunately, no one was in their vehicles during the shootings or injured.

If anyone has any additional information regarding the shootings or the identity/identities of the criminals, then please notify the Seattle Police Department.  Even anonymous tips help!

Be watchful, everyone!

  1. My brother was walking to Red Apple when this happened and they shot him in the arm. He filed a police report, but he wasn’t able to see the car or people very well as they were travelling in the opposite direction and he wasn’t expecting to get shot.

My brother is fine, just a bit of a welt, thank god it wasn’t any worse.
