Building Blocks: Early Learning and Preschool Festival at HRS

Babies, crawlers, toddlers and preschoolers are invited to bring their parents to the FREE Building Blocks Festival. Parents can learn about more than 50 preschools and early learning opportunities at this event.

  Saturday, November 03
  9:30am – 12:30pm
  FREE
  Hamlin Robinson School
  1700 E Union St
  Seattle WA 98144

There will be several mini-lectures on hot topics for parents, including: Choosing a Preschool, Funding Your Child’s Education, Teaching Young Kids a Second Language and a talk by co-op teacher and Joyful Play with Toddlers author, Sandi Dexter, about how to provide low-cost, easy and fun activities for your children at home.

Kids get to have fun, too, boogying to live music, enjoying a puppet show and storytelling from Frye Art Museum and Seattle’s Children’s Theater, trying their hand at a dinosaur matching game provided by the Burke Museum and a craft and storytelling session with the Nordic Art Museum.

Free active fun (parents, read ‘FREE childcare’) will be provided by Seattle Preschool teachers from the Seattle Gymnastics Academy. Goody bags will be given to the first 200 families.
