Here’s a thought. Let’s try to stop the nonsensical spending of government money on everyone’s pet projects. Want to improve your neighborhood? Mow your neighbors lawn, patch the broken sidewalk in front of your house and the abandonned lot, buy a bag of daffodil bulbs and plant them.
Let’s cut out the $10K, $500K city expendatures on speed bumps, the 10 millionth mural of MLK, or worst of all – mid block chicanes that do nothing. – see 1800 block of Lane, how silly.
