About Kids Helping Kids:
Kids Helping Kids is a civic engagement project for kids to help prevent and end homelessness for children in King County. Inspired by 6-year-old Rena Mateja who collected $506 in coins by going door-to-door asking friends and family to help homeless kids, Kids Helping Kids has evolved into a summer-long coin drive contest and a series of events for kids and families. Caspar Babypants is partnering with Wellspring Family Services on this project and offering a chance to win an original song-prize written about one lucky child who participates in Kids Helping Kids this year.
