Man seriously injured in fight at 25th and King

A man was seriously injured in a fight Friday evening at 25th Ave S and S King St, according to police. He was taken to Harborview with possible spine trauma. SPD found three suspects a few blocks away and booked them.

From the Blotter:

On March 25th, at approximately 9:20 PM, East Precinct officers responded to several 911 reports of a large fight disturbance in the 500 Block of 25th Avenue South.  The calls indicated that the disturbance involved five men and women physically fighting.  Officers arrived and located an unresponsive man down on the street with significant head injuries.  Seattle Fire Department was summoned and transported the adult male to Harborview Medical Center. The victim may also have sustained trauma to his spine.  Officers determined through the investigation that a gold colored Jeep had arrived at that location and three black males  got out, punching and kicking the victim.  The Jeep then left the area.  Officers located the Jeep at 26th Avenue and East Yesler a short time later and detained the three occupants.  They were positively identified as the suspects and taken into custody.  The suspects were later booked into the King County Jail for Investigation of Assault.  Detectives will conduct the follow up investigation.
