Police responded to 27th and Cherry Sunday evening to investigate a report of a drive-by shooting. Witnesses told police a man drove by a house and fired a gun around 6 p.m. February 20, according to SPD. There were no injuries.
After allegedly firing the shots, the suspect fled the scene. He ditched the vehicle nearby and fled on foot. Police attempted to locate the suspect, but were unable to. The vehicle was impounded.
The suspect’s father brought the suspect to the East Precinct around 2:30 a.m. the following morning. He has been booked into King County jail on investigation of assault.
