Mardi Gras Benefit Ball for Marsha Rivkin Center

Come enjoy an evening of dinner, dancing, and celebration at Les Faeries Vertes‘ 3rd annual Mardi Gras Ball: Starstruck! A Night at the Movies, to be held the weekend following the 2011 Oscars, as we raise funds to support The Marsha Rivkin Center for Ovarian Cancer Research in its mission to save lives and reduce suffering through improved treatment, early detection, and prevention of ovarian cancer.

Les Faeries Vertes is Seattle’s very own Mardi Gras krewe, formed in 2008 to raise funds for a charity selected by our members each year. We will once again be hosting an evening of Mardi Gras merriment featuring a performance by Miss Kitty Baby, the LFV Krewe’s tableau/parade, a high-stakes dessert dash with treats from local restaurants, and a golden ticket raffle. The ball will be held at 415 Westlake in South Lake Union on Saturday March 5th, 2011. The suggested ticket donation price of $80/person includes a catered dinner, cocktail hour, and dancing the night away in order to benefit The Marsha Rivkin Center.

Please bring cash or your check book to participate in our fabulous raffle for prizes and our dessert dash race!

Tickets can be purchased in person from members of Les Faeries Vertes or online from Brown Paper Tickets. (Advance tickets only–no sales at the door!)

This is a formal/black tie event, so please dress accordingly. Mardi Gras or Red Carpet movie themed costumes, masks, and accessories are highly encouraged as an addition to or in lieu of formal attire.

Note: No one under 21 years old will be admitted
