Fremont swimwear boutique Tininha’s is moving to a studio in Madrona in September, according to the shop’s owner.
In a note on the shop’s Facebook page, Tininha Silva explains that the economy is a factor in closing the Fremont boutique, known for its selection of bikinis, clothing and accessories. She added via email that her main reason is she is planning to branch out as a designer and launch her own line of swimwear, to debut later this fall.
Though the location of the new studio in Madrona is not yet known, Silva says the new space will combine art and fashion. She writes “We will offer the same high quality, exclusive, personalized customer service in a unique and fun environment. Shopping will be by appointment-only, with periodic open houses on the weekends.”
There aren’t any swim shops in Madrona yet, that’s for sure. We’ll keep an eye out for the hours and location of the new studio this fall.
