For those in Madrona who aren’t up for slaving over homemade blueberry pie and ice cream this weekend, holiday dessert is coming to you – two dessert-inclined food trucks are swinging through the neighborhood today and tomorrow.
This afternoon from 4-5:30, Molly Moon’s new ice cream truck (known as “Leo”) will be parked in front of Buggy, the children’s clothing store at 1422 34th Ave. The truck is no stranger to Madrona – you can follow it on Twitter to learn when it will be swinging through the neighborhood.
Then tomorrow, the brand new Street Treats truck will be parked in the driveway in front of Bottlehouse. The two new businesses are teaming up to offer wine and treats from 12-5pm. There will be build-your-own ice cream sandwiches and other desserts (check out Street Treats menu for more.)
