Brunch cocktails start this Saturday at the Hi Spot

It’s taken a good three months, but the liquor license has finally gone through for the Hi Spot Cafe, according to owner Mike Walker.

Starting Saturday, you’ll be able to order one of five housemade cocktails to go along with your pancakes and eggs, in addition to the existing menu of beer and wine.

Walker makes the Bloody Mary mix himself, a tart and spicy combo that will be served with fresh cucumber, celery and lemon. Other new drinks include a Screwdriver, a Greyhound, a Chihuahua and a Madrona Mimosa, all made with fresh-squeezed juices.

For details of what’s in each drink, check out the photo. If you try out any of the new drinks this weekend, share your reviews in the comments.
