About Mark Gonazales: One of the most engaging voices of a generation, Mark Gonzales is a poet, educator, and founder of the Human Writes Project. He holds a Master’s in Education from the University of California, Los Angeles. He appeared on HBO’s Def Poetry, Fox News, Mun2, NPR, and cultivated projects in Cuba, Palestine, Jordan, Qatar, Portugal, Spain, the U.A.E, and across the United States. The depth of his work can be seen in the diversity of his audience, as he has received acclaims from lyricists, educators, senators, foster youth, former prisoners, and members of the United Nations.
