Actually I’m watching the dog for a friend so this is really really bad. She is a medium size cattle dog – mostly black & brown with a silvery / gray tone. Her name is Nika and she is very skittish. She escaped from my yard this evening and isn’t familiar with the city since she is from the ‘burbs.
Please call or email if you see her. Please try to get her inside or on a leash – she loves food.

i almost ran over this dog….i was on martin luther king driving north….he was running in and out of traffic….he was running south bound towards union….i was going towards madison

Have you called the pound/animal control? they are really good about picking up dogs and holding them. A lot of times if dogs get turned into vets, the vet office will call the pound/animal control and give a description too. You should also give animal control a description with your contact info so that they can reach you — especially if they can’t contact the owners right away.
