Opening Tomorrow: Naam Thai in Madrona

The new thai joint we first mentioned last month is all set to open tomorrow in Madrona. They’ll be open daily from 11am to 9pm, serving lunch and dinner.

They’re taking over the vacant storefront on 34th just two doors north of Union and a few doors south of the Hi Spot (who have some really tasty lattes and baked goods).

We won’t be able to make it for the opening tomorrow, so if you do, make sure to leave your review and let people know how it is.

  1. I will do all I can (with my wife) to make this restaurant successful; the recent string of open-and-close varieties will hopefully become a distant memory. Hoping they offer affordable takeout, and not-too-expensive in-restaurant dining, similar to Jamjuree up on 15th on Capitol Hill.

    Very excited :-)

  2. I can’t wait to try it. If the prices are reasonable I’ll be a regular customer. It’d be nice if they were open a little later, though.

  3. We had a great casual dinner! Enjoyable location and service -menu was diverse and delicious. Perfect price point with generous portions and creative cocktails. Encourage all Madrona-ites to try Naam and support the neighborhood. Cheers!

  4. We just got back form dinner at Naam. Good food, service, and prices. Fun place.

  5. delicious! good food; fast and friendly service; great atmosphere. This will replace Jamjuree for us.

  6. I have already eaten sooo many times here. My personal favorite…the fresh rolls. The menu is priced well..great for low-high income. I highly recommend it. The waitress brought me the yummy Thai iced tea.Refreshing !! Thank you Naam Thai Cuisine, for coming to Madrona ( 34th Ave ).

  7. This place is great. They stay open late, when they have customers. They have awesome prices and the drinks the bartender made up are to die for! Seating by the windows was the best ever, you don’t leave feeling too full because you are so relaxed the whole meal. This place better stay put, it was needed!

  8. Food was great, staff aimed to please. I got takeout. It’s a great addition to the area.

  9. We ate there last night, and what a fantastic place! It’s just what Madrona desperately needed: affordable, tasty food with a casual atmosphere. I’ve eaten tons of Thai food, and this was some of the best. Service was a bit shaky: they were understaffed/overwhelmed-by-the-crowd, but they were always of good cheer, and they’ll probably work that out. We’ll be eating there often.
