The city is getting some federal stimulus funds to give summer jobs to youth & young adults aged 16-24. The jobs will be things like working at city community centers, outdoor environmental restoration, and even some cushy-sounding office jobs. All of them are a good way to earn some cash, get some experience, and have a good reference on a resume.

But as with most stimulus-related programs, time is of the essence. The city needs to know who is interested by this Friday May 1 and all of the forms have to be filled out and turned in before May 8th.
