Worried about state budget cuts?  Upset that the state gave Seattle nothing in transportation funding from the federal stimulus? 

Tomorrow’s your chance to meet our representatives in the state legislature and get answers to these questions and more.

It all starts at 1pm at the Garfield Community Center at 23rd & Cherry.

    This alternative proposal for the Goodwill site was developed by the Community Alliance for Responsible Development (CARD) and the University of Washington.

    The project includes about 40 stores, an expanded Goodwill, public plazas and park space, and brings significant affordable family housing to the neighborhood – all with reduced traffic impacts to the community.
